I’m starting to blog on this domain with the principal goal of improving my writing skills.  I believe that consistent, disciplined practice is the key to improvement in any endeavor.  In business that means you ship code, get feedback from customers and the market, and iterate.  Since I’ve reduced my output to sporadic emails, microblogging, birth anouncements and business memos, I thought it would be useful to begin a habit of writing longer-form pieces.  I expect that initial content will be a miscellany of business, tech, and a little bit of cooing over the new babies just to get the ball rolling. As things develop, I hope to set aside time to dive deeper into topical issues or working theses.  For now, I’m just going to ship prose.
